I have a little problem I had to replace my tramsmittion a while ago and I have a digital speedometer well they gave me a transmittion for a car with electronic speedometer but not digital so the problem is that if I hook up the speedometer 20 miles per hour reads out as 110 miles per hour and the fuel cut off turns the motor of until speed drops below 110 or so and if I dont hook it up the car dies every time I push the clutch in and decelerate I was told the computer needs to know how fast I am going to regulate the amount of fuel needed so I want to know if there is a way to trick the computer into thinking that the speedo is hooked up or just to give me the fuel I need based on RPM or other means can anyone help
