To the post about N/a camaros and t/a's whopping on turbo or superhcarged mustangs its ture. The corba has been beat 4 times by n/a gm cars. theres the list.

z28 built lt1 camarao
t/a ls1 built mild
ws6 built built= beat corba twiced one on track and one on street.

Also been beat by a Busa BK, 04 custom built motor sti

Yea, he put down about 450 running out of fuel up top, he pullied down and did an a1000 system and should peak just over 500 to the wheels, will be close. His car definitely rolls out, but even he will admit the LSx has much more potential then his car. Now 5.4L's and 03/04 Cobra's are another story. This is on i think 14lbs, plus the GT 2 valve 4.6L is garbage, his heads don't flow dick, now if he threw some 4 valve heads on there then he would probably pick up another 100 at the wheels.

Now i can see only beating him by 5 cars if you're just completely spinning, no traction at all, but by 80 you should have enough to just completely annihilate the thing.

Cobra R is kind of a special case, i wouldn't really consider that a common mustang...i would be honored to let one rape me if i pulled up to one, by far my favorite mustang of all time.

Selling my 2000 Cobra R was probably, by far, the dumbest thing I have ever done. And with only 300 made, I doubt I'll ever be scooping one up again.

Speaking of cobra R series there is a 00 like maybe 20mins from me.I know when I seen him at the track he ran 11s when he got traction and low 12s with spinning. I know hes got aftermarket turbos but not sure what else.

Am I on crack, or doesn't the WS6 stand for a Package that was Available???

I think that Trans Ams in general with a 350TPI (GTA) LT1 and LS1 engine all had a option of a WS6 Package including wheels, tires, suspension, exhaust, and air intake.

BTW, this guy can tell some good stories.

i dont really feel like looking. but im pretty sure a WS6 is an engine that was available in pontiac f-bodies.
