Is there any way to make this sequential? Like, light one LED for each 2-300RPM above whatever?

Yes but would require different circuitry than what is used by the ECM, and use a very different code on a different output, that would need to be written.

Would like be eaiser and cheaper to make or buy a sequential shiftlight that didn't use ECM hardware.

If you watch close you can see it working in this video. I found a few more settings that should be adjusted. There is a delay for each gear. I'll map those and post up all the info later on today.

If you notice in my video the 2-3 shift light didn't come on. I'm still working on why. Datalogs show that the engine was above 6375 RPM (not sure how far since $A1 is limited to 6375).

Just a quick update.. When wearing a helmet this light wasn't quite bright enough.. so i built a new one today that's a tad better..

I used an old broken Maglite-AA, a 12V regulator and 3 Luxeon 1W red LED's in series.. so 3W of bright ass LED light.

Pic with the blue light is a $200 Surefire A2 flashlight VS this thing. It lites up the whole interior of my Z

You'd see the light, if you did the follwoing two things:

-Moved your arm.

-Waited for the shift light to come to shift.

Haha, yeah, I start to get the itch to shift when my Rs start climbing close to 6000 RPM, but I have to remind myself to wait..... wait.... wait.... just a little longer... AHH, Now shift!.
