Does anyone know where I can get after market valve covers for my 1988 Z24 cavalier? I've been looking all over but the ones they claim fit have 2 extra bolt holes at the ends of the valve covers and well to me that says they aren't right. Everyone from Edelbrock to Spectre uses this same design. I'd like some help if anyone knows where I can get them at. I am not looking for stock ones I have those already.

They are all probably using the same Stock Photograph.
That means the style is the same, but the picture shown may be for a different application.
Chances are they will send you the correct ones for your engine.

There are no aftermarket valve covers for the gen 2 engine.

the ones you are finding are for the iron head gen 1 and they will not fit at all.

Thanks for the info. I had no idea they did not make any for these engines. Acually suprising they don't. I have never looked for any myself.

So, sorry I was misleading. However, often you will find online suppliers using a 'stock photo' for an item listed. Just something to keep in mind. Many will even say they are stock photos and your actual part may vary.

Marc from TCE was working on some billet valve covers for the gen 3's but the price for those is probably going to be hefty.
