you might run into clearance problems with the radiator hose and maybe intake..

i usually hook them 90 degrees about an inch or 2 after the head, like these shorties i built a while back:

FF, maybe grab a set of S&S headers, mod them like 3400 did, then copy that? LOL only part left to check would be for the 3spd and 5spd guys and tweak accordingly.

I already planned on moving the #2 primary. I remembered we even had to get a slim fan for Loner's turbo headers, and #2 had to go around the other side of the collector location. Wasn't even thinking about the radiator hose.

Amazing how similar the last front looked like yours (except they fed a turbo lol)...

Yes, yes we do

I ripped them apart and changed all three primaries, much happier with this design...

Flanges aren't as cheap as some others you may find, but being individual helps keep them from warping/leaking and the counterbore makes them easy to weld to. $85 shipped for a set of 6.

Don't lose hope just yet!!!

I know it's taking some time, but here's another sneak peak...

Loner said he will make the trip here so we can get the prototype set test-fitted on an L-body (Corsica at that), so we are going to be starting with the tightest GM engine bay and expand from there.

Any J-Bodies in the area?

Do you have a target uncoated price for these? I would much rather buy headers than make them.
