Damn nice times !!!

Any wrinkle wall tire eleiminates wheel hop 100% and they are NUTS on FWD vehicles.

Are you doing LONG second gear bunouts with that LSD ?

My problem now is only beeing abel to heat on tire in the burnout box... Did team green fix that ?

Wow Dave, very impressive. Knocked a half second off of your previous best.

What was your launch technique and how did it differ with the slick you have on now?

Think you can drop the time further?

Congrats!

Brad

Thanks!

Just a quick 1st gear launch out of the waterbox to clean the gravel off the tires. I had them at 25PSI on that run, i went down to 20 and it didn't seem to make any difference . I only felt them spin slightly when going into 2nd on one of the runs.

I didn't realize it but apparently on that run i launched at around 5K RPM

I keep it around half throttle when i let out the clutch, as soon as the car is moving i just floor it and hold on. The slicks just grip, there is no feathering the throttle to worry about.. just the possiblity of broken axles.

I think that i might be able to go lower, i have some ideas that i'd like to try out on the dyno. Pretty much the same junk as last year.. i think the WOT spark advance is screwing with my AFR's.. if i bring them closer to the high 12's then i lose power, it likes the low 12's/high 11's for some reason.

Here is the datalog of the run.. the MPH is off because of the larger diameter tire.

A 1.9 with 20 psi in the tires ?

NICE !

I can't hook up till I am sitting around 13 psi in mine.

I like 11.5 actually... But the track prep where I go race is terrible.

with 140K + miles on my CV's i don't want to push it too hard.. but i'd like to get the R/T's down and the 60' down to a 1.5.

my upper strut mounts are shot now.. and i broke off a wheel stud too
