Don't ya just love it when you go to a restaurant and they act like you are putting them out cause you are there. It seems like every place i go to, it's like that. I hope they realize if they treat everyone that way... They'll soon be out of a job. Just needed to vent.

I always treat people in the service industry with the upmost respect. I know how they feel cause I was there once. I just think tho that there is no excuse for bad manners. On the customer side too.

remember...we ARE all human...we have bad days and emotions and feelings...u know how hard it is to smile and ask everyone if they are finding everything ok? when u know one of your best friends is in jail awaiting trial for attempted murder.....

try putting a smiling face on with that one...........

I know it's hard some days. All I ask for is some courtesy. I don't even need a smile.

we went out for breakfast sunday.. and we watched people walk in the door (after we were seated) & get their food before we ever got ours... & we discussed not leaving a tip... and then the waitress brought me an entirely wrong meal... I merely smiled & told her i didn't mind eating it, i just didn't want to be charged for something i didn't order... & she told us that was probably her fault too, everything else was that day... I felt so bad for her! I have had rude customers totally ruin my whole day...

(& don't get me wrong...
I am the first person in line to tell someone that they
screwed up/pissed me off/were disrespectful...
my husband will agree to that!!)

but we all have bad days.... just smile & try to be the one who changes it to a little bit better day!

Having experience in the restaurant business, I know that one thing, more than anything can cause your stay to be an unpleasant one. That thing would be coming in right before closing time! Shooting That is really frigg'n annoying! Especially at a nicer restaurant - I mean, fast food, who cares, they don't have much to do to leave, plus the drive-thru is still open. But anyways, if you want to get crappy service, yeah, do that.

Well, I'm not the type to come into a restaurant like 56 mins before closing. I think that if restaurants wanted to alleviate that problem they should have a sign stating they stop seating at a certain time.
