that's about normal... mine is about 13-18 at idle.. cruse you want it in the 35 range or so, mine goes up into the 40's sometimes.

Not sure about the boost advance though...

Wow, ok. This surprises me. The base tune on this car was running high 20s on ignition advance at cruise! I thought it was a bit low. So since I'm running 93 octane I could actually advance the timing even more than where it's at now, right? Anyone have any idea as to how much advance you can run on 93 octane before you get into knock/ping?

Gee...wonder who that's for?

I'm hanging on to the digi dash for now...I guess we'll find out how it reacts when I get it on the road. I'll see if I can snag a laptop and load TunerPro to get some datalogs.

it wasn't for you

cruse advance can go pretty high, too high and it'll buck with a 5 speed.

attached is my table, you can see where i've pulled significant spark to stop the bucking. With my cam it's a pretty big problem.

this link doesn't work... "These rewritable chips can be found here: http://www.mcumall.com/comersus/store/comersus_viewItem.asp?idProduct=3130
And you will need to CAREFULLY put it back into the MEMCAL socket."

So is this the chip that I need to get for my 91z24 with a 3400? I have a chip from Scott0999 to run the stock 3400 injectors

Yes, that would be the EEPROM (chip) itself, but if you already have an EEPROM from Scott, why are you looking at buying a blank EEPROM?

You also need the G1 adaptor to use the new EEPROM.

Well then I guess I don't need one, I'm new to all this tuning business,

So I bought the ALDL cable, the G1 Memory adapter, the Willems Dual Power Universal EPROM Programmer, the adapter for the memcal to the Programmer, the software comes with the cable. Is there anything else I need?

OK...so today I put the resistor in 10K position, and got what appeared to be data, but none of it made sense. I started engine, and revved up at times and for example, the rpm didnt change.

Also, TPS stayed the same as I revved. other values ate wacky. Also, the parameters do not match my manual......some missing, some extra.

Sheesh.......back to the drawing board.
