After about 2 years of futsing around, I finally had time to wire up the digital display for the Blazer overhead console that I installed in my car a couple of years ago.
It took a bit of cussing and sweating in the 90 degree heat, but finally I got everything wired up and yesterday I went to the JY and got the temperature sensor that I needed to make the temp display function properly.
Now I know what direction I am heading in aswell as the outside temperature! I like it a lot.... now I know how hot it really is when I am stuck in traffic without A/C!
Here are a couple of pictures.

Sweet, now that I know it can be swapped in and fully functional I may have to swap one into my Jimmy.

Yeah, it is pretty easy six, here is the page that helped me when I was getting everything wired up.
I also have the how-to for installing it into a j-body here.

Thanks guys! It was something that I have been wanting to finish for a long time now. It was a pain hooking it up to my VSS though, other than that, it was a pretty smooth install.

not that it matters...the temp sensor is $2 from any GM dealership.
Brad, now you need to get an electrochromatic/auto dimming rear view mirror best thing since sliced bread.
