Here is the way I did it:

i bought a brand new front engine mount from AutoZone for like $20:

and a tube of Polyurethane construction adhesive

Day1: FIll the very bottom of each hole with a layer about 1/8" thick Poly, Let mount sit for about 8 hrs, then poke several holes in the poly to expose the non hardened stuff and toss mount in the oven @ 350F for about 30 minutes. (beware, it dosen't smell like fresh cookies)

Day2: Same thing....

Day 3: Same

Day 4: More of the same....

Day 5: Same.... Last layer.. (before Baking)..

as it sits this thing is rock solid.. we'll see how it works on friday when i put it in...Total cost: $20 for the mount, $6 for the poly.

even if the poly falls out after a while (hopefully not). it'll be a huge improvement over the one that's in there now.. consitering that there is nothing left of it

I wonder if cutting small slits in the rubber for the poly to "grip" would help.....or maybe an aluminum "case" around it.....

I did mine with windshield urethane and they are holding up pretty well (been in about 4-5 months now)

WINDOW WELD! has anyone heard of this stuff. i have no idea where you get it, but when i was drivin a saturn, alot of the saturn guys were usin stuff called window weld on their motor mounts, as i remember. didnt ever hear of problems like the poly crackin and fallin out. if you want solid motor mounts, seems it would be easier to just weld a metal plate into the motor mount. cuz you KNOW that is gonna work

I used the stuff from Mcmaster and so far it seems to be great. I let it sit for 7 days like the instructions said but I also baked it 4-5 seperate times at between 150-200 degrees for 30-45 minutes at a time.

They are hard as hell and dont allow ANY engine movement.
