I would like to sell the whole car, but I only want to loose soo much on it. I would rather part it out
I would have to add up the receipts. I have literally 600 hours labor alone so again I think its best if I just part it out at this point. I just see too many people loosing thousands and I'm not about to do that
but if your serious and you think you can pay what I consider fair, we can talk
after repairing/replacing the trans, the car would need alignment. the car needs paint bumper to bumper. front windshield has a crack towards the top. you can hardly see if from the outside since its on the tinted part. power locks dont work. I can hear the relay clicking but the actuators are doing nothing. like any used cars theres a few other minor things. but overall that would get it in good shape!
since I havent really had a chance to drive the car much I couldnt tell you more than that. the engine I rebuilt and seems to be running great. but again it hasnt came out of 1st gear so I can only say so much
I've had several people tell me "damn, if I was going to build a fiero - I would do it just like you did"
its really a nice car and if someone is willing to finish it, I would rather see that happen. I really dont Want it to goto the yard! |

| Well shoot me a pm with an asking price, maybe we can work something out. As far as the engine/trans I don't really care since it would be 3500/5spd swapped. |

wow a while since an update
ok so I got a tranny from autotech1117. took out the old tranny and saved the parts I needed off it. then sent it to the yard
I decided since the cradle was out and my original plan with this car is so far off, I might as well 3400 swap it
right now the engine and tranny are bolted on the cradle. this winter was pretty brutal so I didn't get anything done until recently. I'm working on the 3400 swap harness right now.
SOME PICS!!!

for sure! its possible to put it up top but you have to cut the strut tower which I didn't want to do. plus its a cleaner look with it at the bottom, and it will run a bit cooler |

I used the same chart to swap out the 7170 to 7730, pretty straightfoward. Took all of 2 hours to re-pin everything. _________________

Yeah mine was just for shots n giggles to basically clean it up and not have such a big honking item at the top. If I could pull pics off my phone easily on here I'd throw a pic on. Now it's been 3 years already but if I recall I think with how I mounted mine I my pulley wasn't dead inline so I had room on the shaft I think I either spaced the pulley out or bought a diff pulley that hung out more _________________

yes I think I will need a wider pulley. there doesn't seem to be any thread left to put a spacer on it |

Doesn't your fiero have the blower motor in the trunk to cool the alternator and coil pack?
Did you use the same diagrams to repin your ecu that you sent me? I still didn't have time to start the swap. I am still debating on this ls1 built create engine that has 400hp that is just sitting on an engine stand or buying a 3500. Did you have any clearance issues? And what all did you modify mount wise. The exhaust must be really easy to set up especially if you use 3500 exhaust manifolds. _________________

it does, but the alternator on the Fiero 2.8 is in a different location from where a "stock 3400" would sit.
same diagram |

Couldn't you put it at the factory location? I would like to keep the ac? Your alternator is where my AC is.
***Edit***
Never mind is see where you said you had to cut the strut tower. Is the engine wider that it makes you run out of room? _________________
