Ok, As some of you know my last cd player is fried lol. So i got a pioneer deh-235 cd player from a freind. My problem is wiring it up. It has 2 black and grey wires, 2 green and black wires, a grey and red wire, green and red wire, a orange, black and red wire. My question is does any one have a wireing diagram so i can just cut off that pluggin in on my other harness and wire these wires up to it? Or any easier ways?

Thanks

allthough i would just buy a wiring harness adapter from best buy or even walmart has em for like 10 bucks, but if you dont want to spend it follow this: http://www.the12volt.com/installbay/detail.asp?info=alarm&year=1986-90&make=Chevrolet&model=Cavalier&ID=17396&type=Stereo
the wiring from the deck works like this:
white: left front speaker +, white with black is negative -
gray: right frong + , gray with black is -
green: left rear +, green with black is -
purple: right rear + purple with black is -
yellow: constant 12v
red: switched 12v (accessory)
black: ground
orange: should be power antenna (only need if you have power antenna)
blue: hook up to an amp turn on lead if you have one

ps: i still say take a multimeter and make sure your 2 power wires read 12v with the igntiion on, i doubt you fried your deck but whatever

Older Pioneers used a different code. (BTW the orange in the newer code is for dimmer)

Orange - 12V constant
Red - 12V switched (acc)
Black - Ground
Green - Left Front +
Green/Black - Left Front -
Grey - Right Front +
Grey/Black - Right Front -
Green/red - Left Rear +
Black Green - Left Rear -
Grey/Red - Right Rear +
Black/Grey - Right Rear -

If you look closely you will see the difference between the Grey/Black wire and the Black/Grey wire. The first colour listed for the wire will have the majority of the colour.

yah, the kid had it hooked up on ihis truck. My queston is comming off the plugiin in on the harness were it hooks in to the cd player is the black wire(ground) then something called a filter and fuse box. A black and yellow wire come out of that and the yellow wire has to red wires connected to its end. It looks very strange. Got any ideas one what it is/does.

so the yellow wire goes into the filter/fusebox too or does it start at the fusebox? As for the 2 red wires, I have no clue as to what those are for. I'm guessing one is an constant and one is the accessory
