I put a FM40 on mine and it sounds like a monster. Oddly enough its got a real low but loud throaty grumble that drowns out V8's. My friend was driving in his Chevelle and couldn't hear his own engine next to mine. I'm real happy with it.

ok i dont think its going to drown out a v8 with equivillant exhaust

a 40 or 80 series is going to be the loudest flows for your car.

The 60 degree is a louder engine than the SBC stock for stock.

weird.. my Z stock with a Flow 40 and no cat was louder than my cammed 355 trans am with true duals, no cats and flow 40's.

the 60 degreev6 is a very loud engine, that's why they put so much BS on the newer '660 cars exhaust to quiet them down. GAGT's have the restrictor funnel in the downpipe, a cat, a resonator and a large muffler..

lol honesty, those of you that say its louder, were both engines with full exhasut or open manifolds/headers, because open man/headers on the ones ive heard werent any louder, full exhaust has many factors that determine the loudness keep in mind.

The guy with the Chevelle belongs to the site. Ask him if you don't believe me.

Its odd though. My exhaust is louder then my friends and we have the same muffler. Me and him were talking about it. Could it be because my tip is connected directly to my muffler and his has some piping between the 2? He also has the 3.1 where I have a 2.8. Either way my cars pretty loud. I'll try and get a video or something.
