With 2.5 pipe, high flo cat,tuned single in dual out stainless muffler, and a 3400 with my foot in it it was deffinatly louder than a sbc. _________________ Traded my S-10 for a 92 lincoln SGT=RIP Just to rusted! Same concept as those little shit car 4 cylinders with the fart cans make that gawd awfull loud ear piercing buzz that makes me want to put a bullet in my head. Thats why i say, open man/header to open man/header, its not louder. _________________

Thats why i say, open man/header to open man/header, its not louder. ill agree i race at 4000 ft and the V8s running in the 13 -14 are way louder then the two in that video and that is like 11.5-13 at sea level

Had a similar experience with my mothers 89 Oldsmobile Cutless with the 2.8L. The whole muffler blew out when I was on the highway about 40 mins from home and by the time I got home my head was pounding and my ears were ringing. Sounded exactly how you put it. Got lucky I didn't get stopped by a trooper. _________________
