are the drain plugs in the engine or trans magentic? I never bothered checking
im going to get one for the trans at least since its the non-clutch type. sounds like a good idea

there is a magnet inside the trans when you split the bellhousing.

| The vss magnet is going to pick up any shavings before it would reach the drain magnet unfortunatly. But it couldnt hurt.

okay so im trying to install my LSD insert right now, and theres almost 1/8" side to side play once I put it in the diff.
was anyone elses like this?

that's normal, just pop the retainers off and it won't move anymore..

I see what you mean, but there would still be a gap in the side. just seems like it should be a better fit

mine was that way, i've had it for over a year and half now. still working great! that extra little bit of 1/8" clearance is needed just to get it in there! the springs really work against you if there isn't, and we really dont have tools meant for installing somthing like this. except vise grips.
