You should swap over to the steel 3500 fuel rail if your gonna be running E85 longterm. All you'd need to do is weld a return line on it to make it usable. _________________

You're making good progress but, why put the engine in incomplete. It just seems like it is soo much easier to put the alt. and ps pump on while the engine is out of the car. Looks good in there though. I can't wait to see the numbers you make with the new setup.
Are you going to take full advantage of those forged pistons? You know, lots of boost. *hint hint _________________

I don't know man. I've pulled and installed my 3100 numerous times. It was easier (for me) to just do it with the engine out. I did have to replace the headgaskets once and it was a pita for me to reinstall the alt & ps pump. I guess it's just personal preference then.
Btw, Any updates? _________________

car is running now. started first try and let it idle for awhile. upon tapping the gas it stalled (too rich) so I tried restarting and wouldnt (plugs fouled). leaned it out about 6 times and finally started again with a nice backfire.
battery light was on then and idle was going down as it warmed up. stalled again and now battery is dead and on the charger...

No balancing of any sort? Or did you already have that done before? _________________

heres whats been going on lately rofl...
after the first few starts of the car the battery died. tried charging it and got some error on my battery charger. took it to autozone and they charged it ok so I guess my battery charger is fucked up or something
anyways the battery has been holding charge fine since
then I drove it home and the fucking shift cable breaks RIGHT AS IM PULLING IN
$162 later shift cable fixed
then I drove it to work and when trying to leave the fuel pump wouldnt stop priming and it wouldnt start
unplugged the OPSU and fuel pump would prime normally and stop but still no start. replaced the OPSU and fixed that $20 later
when I got home noticed some oil leak and found the oil pan gasket didnt go in right.. got caught between the main cap and block. another $20 later fixed that
so basically $200 more than expected but its running pretty decent now
had some tuning issues since I changed fuel types but now it starts fine, BLMs pretty close and it doesnt stall. idle isnt perfect but I could really care less about that right now since im used to idle issues on these cars no matter what you do it seems
thats all for now _________________
