little update

last night the car started fine and started back up fine.. so not sure what was going on the other day...

just gotta bleed the power steering fully and retune. also going to check the compression to be sure everythings ok

I ordered a oil catch can to solve the injector clogging issue:

scotty i had a chrome baller catch can i would of hooked you up with, from my saturn setup i never used.

the marking on the pistons goes toward the fron of the motor i.e passenger side


nice work, did you clean the carbon off all the pistons?

Sounds like the arrows. they point towards the front(timing cover) so the assembly guys know which way they go in(like someone mentioned).

I got the combustion chambers completely cleaned, pistons best I could (didnt feel like turning the engine over for the pistons that were down)

the catch can was only $28 shipped but thanks for offering

and ya im sure the mark (arrow) on the pistons was that way stock, the valve took all the pain

it runs like this: PCV -> catch can -> plenum

Looks to be about the same size as a CCP canister. Might as well just swap one for the other
