I'm pretty sure he means the second ring from the top. So no, 2nd is not the top. "1st" would the the "top" ring.

scott are you fileing your rings or is the machine shop?

use a ring filer its easier, you can use a file but u gotta make sure the ring is straight and file the rough edges

be patient

ya im filing them myself. hopefully I can find a ring filer tomorrow

I figured since the timing cover will keep getting dirty I painted it black. also completed the "v6 man" mount
