birdboy28 Post Whore Joined: 28 Jul 2003 Posts: 1647 Location: home: windsor ontario 1990 Sunbird SE 1991 Cavalier Z24 1993 Grand Cherokee Limited	Posted: Wed Nov 22, 2006 8:48 am    Post subject: exactly!!! ......my buddy installed one in his Jeep YJ, he tried to convine me to install one in my jeep, but i have a working temp/compass plus all the rest of the good technical stuff in my overhead console now ...he is kinda jeleous when i showed him everything it did , but back on topic, his installation was just 12v, ground and a ACC soo it comes on when the key is turned, 3 wires, the actual compass is in the mirror sooo i dont know about the mirrors you guys might be getting, but his came out of a ford explorer like 1992 or 1993......it was 3 wires and it looks great if you have any other questions, ask away and ill ask him, he is a audio/video installer soo he could point me in the right direction with anything along this topic...he has installed a number of these mirrors into various cars. _________________ Its A Jeep THing, You Wouldnt Understand 4.0L of bulletproof evil
