If anyone is looking for main girdle supports or other performance parts for the 2.0 OHC/DOHC motors, here's a good place to find them and it's based in the US instead of Europe.

http://www.daftart.com/

http://www.daftart.com/catalog/item/5914192/5766258.htm (main girdle)

Exhaust flanges do something special... they connect custom bent pipes to the cylinder head so you can make headers.

Haven't dealt with him yet as far as buying anything. But I will be when I have the funds. I know for a fact he is a good guy, no issues there.

heheh.. unfortunatly not. Between Vegas and misc other things (long story) I dont' have the majority of my "financial inherintance" anymore. Dont get me wrong it went to a good use (NOT Vegas) but the majority of it is gone. Back on topic.. which books did you get from Amazon.com and you're getting the $600 from the goverment right?? (Stimulus check)

lol. Building High Performance Fuel Injection by Ben Strader and How to Tune and Modify Engine Management Systems by Jeff Hartman.

No I won't be receiving one of those checks.

No Maximum Boost by Corkey Bell??? I DO have the book and started to read through it but "life" happened and Ive put the book aside... for now... Its a good book.. very informative and Corkey does a good job of keeping the reader somewhat entertained by beating up on "old school" thinking...

How come you're not getting a check in the mail? You didnt make enough??? If it makes you feel any better I got mine in the mail today and put it right towards my credit card bill(s).

No, because I'm still at home and have only just now started to pay rent, since I have a job that allows me to be able to afford it now. So until now I've been a dependent. Dependents don't get stimulus checks, which sucks. But I'm not leaving home for a good long while because it's too expensive to live anywhere else. My parents only want $200 a month and they don't bother me at all. I can understand how some peoples parents can be a pain and they want to leave home, but I actually don't mind being there and definitely don't mind the difference between $200 a month and $800+ a month. I basically live there like I do live alone.

I've got more books to get, but Im starting with these two. That will be one of them as well as the advanced tuning one by Ben Strader. Dave recommended it I think.
