94Z Backup lights

that connector in the pic looks like for the ABS

have you changed the reverse light switch on the tranny?

Ok I checked and its the wires going to the back that are bad, thank god lol 2 new wires tomorrow it's getting dark and hopefully that will work, thanks for the info man.

never changed the reverse swithc and I traced the wires down to the connector so I know it was for them lol

I guess I was looking at the wrong connector, but I may still have an idea what is wrong, where do the reverse lights get there power from?

yeah I guess I will, is the back up switch the same on a 89 tranny as it would be a 91? I think they are the same but the connector ends seem to be different, or does it change with the ph1 or ph2 and so on...

oh and the connector was the one for the tranny though, I traced it back again

I am going to check it right at the switch to make sure lol but yeah thought I would mention.

ok so I checked the switch again and confirmed now it's fine it connects in reverse and disconnects when I'm out of it, so I ran 2 wires back to the blue and the green in the trunk and put it in reverse and got nothing

Narrowed it down to no power at the sockets where do these get there power from?

Ok I don't know if the abs is the same connector as the reverse light connector but I think I have my abs plugged into my tranny

my drivers side has no abs on it at all so I guess I must have thought it was for the reverse lights, now I don't have a hot clue where the wires for the back up lights are so where would they be, please some one tell me they know lol like waht 2 wires in the back would be for the 2 coming from the tranny

the blue wire I have in the back is for my spoiler brake light and the green one is for my reverse lgihts they are both power so I know that much, any help would be appreciated, lol
