looking to get some new ones (damn I hate buying them)

225/45/17

needs good wet and dry traction. I dont really care about the winter handling part of it

but would like decent-good treadwear and low noise

suggestions?

I am running Toyos in the front which are wicked other then me not being able to afford them, and I have sumitomos in the rear, they are both quieter then my previous wanlis, and about the same as my michelins... but I think the sumitomos are a softer compound so they wont last long, either way... My toyos are on the wear bars:P I know I am buying a set of 4 sumitomos next... I am happy with them

Nankang are a good quiet ride and they'd proally last a fair bit if yur not roastin em alot. Also they have great wet/dry traction, Winter traction = 0 !!! Took me a summer and a half to wear a set out but burnouts were in abundance...

Kumho MX... just love that tire.

May only last a year tho, depending on how you treat them.

thanks for the suggestions. I did a crapload of research and decided to go with Kumho ASX 225/45/17s

buddy of mine had them on his srt4 and it would launch amazingly good. also had them on his evo and busted a 1.7 60'
