You mean the Phenolic Spacer's? If so I believe it's the guy on here that go's by the screen name phenolic. For your purpose tho i'd be worried about a nitrous back fire through the intake blowing something like that apart. I'd get something machined from aluminum as I believe the phenolic spacer's are some sort of fibre/resin but I'm not completly sure. _________________

You are correct but phenolic spacers are fireproof. They use phenolic material to make casters that are meant to go into ovens for baking & shit like that _________________

Ok. I was thinking more like, would they be strong enough to take a pressure surge like that without being blown to bits? lol. Also I believe he's going to be turboed as well. I'm going to be puttin togather a 350 small block with Twin turbo's and possibly spray I know I deffinatly won't be useing anything but aluminum for anything on the intake side of things. _________________

yes you are right i am doing turbo and direct port nitrous but i have a polished manifold and would like to not drill into it and also was told they put more space from the downpipe and the intake pipe, which helps cuz everything will be cramped as shit in there...lol...
I thought that the spacers would be made out of aluminum and definitly want a set that are....so does anyone know where i can get a set of those or would like to do a set for me? also how much do u think a set like that would cost? _________________

Yes, I am the person that was/am trying for the group buy for the 2.8/3.1 engines on the spacers.
I can guarantee it'll handle boost and high temp since these spacers were more targeted towards boosted applications to begin with.
I would have to bump the interest list to see who is all available still on the GB. I'm sure though, if you really wanted them, it can be arranged, but it will not be as cheap than if we got a handful of people involved too.
Click the link in my sig to find out more info and who to contact that is making them. _________________

Contact the maker of the spacers (see sig) . Making it out of aluminum might be possible, will cost slightly more though since that stock material has gone up. _________________

Also, how thick would you think you'd need it? Keep in mind that you might need to tap your own holes for your nozzles. _________________

im not sure how thick i need them...enough to take the pressure and also have the holes for the nozzles drilled and tapped in...i think the size that needs to be drilled is 1/16 NPT body threads whatever that means...lol so suggestions on the thickness would be cool. Also my heads and manifolds have been ported and polished...does that mean that these have to be cut to match the porting or how does that work? _________________

I would probably go with 5/8 or 3/4. The spacers should be matched to your gaskets.
So if your gaskets are cut for a bigger opening, then the spacers should be too. I would request the batch of spacers to be already ported out a little bit, wouldn't be a bad idea. I mean, if you're modding your engine, then you should have had the ports opened up to accept some ported spacers too. _________________
