Im upgrading my brakes this winter and was thinking of getting them from r1concepts.com. Has anyone bought rotors from there, if so.. how are they? _________________

From what I gathered at the local SCCA Solo gathering this weekend, R1's aren't much better than regular rotors. A couple of the Subie guys ran them but said they were about useless after a good hard run.
I'd say it's worth the extra few bucks to invest in some Powerslot rotors for a noticeable difference. _________________

Is there really a such thing as a "noticable difference" on a cavalier?? _________________

Yes, there is. Especially when it's an autocross car. Just ask James. _________________

They will be mostly just for looks and my main concern was seeing if anyone had problems with them cracking. _________________

i haven't heard of those rotors before, but the rotors i got off ebay for like $80 shipped, are cross drilled, slotted and coated.
they have worked great so far. normal pads, no cracks or wear though.
ebay FTW lol _________________

Did you happen to get the premium rotors? I think thats what im gonna go with.. shouldnt rust up as easily.

Premium rotors? when I got them I don't think there was a choice. But they are zinc plated which stopped the rust for awhile.
