will it work?

it's just temp, until i track down a heat shield for the mid section from the front manifold to the back manifold

maybe also for the downpipe so my rack boots won't get worse than it is lol

Just go to the auto parts store and get some header wrap. Aluminum foil won't help much with the amount of heat produced by the exhaust I wouldn't think.

it does, it reflects the heat away. ive seen it used on alot of chargepipes that go close the the exhaust.

Header wrap would be more effective IMO and a permanent solution. Then he wouldn't have to worry about finding a heat shield really. That's what I'm gonna be doing with my car...those covers get in my way and slice my fingers open. Shooting

I got some header wrap instead lol, with all the money i've been blowing on this POS, might as well

it was only 28 bucks after taxes for 50' of 1'' wrap
