Tommorow going to get 2 3800 Superchargers that were off pontiac grand prix bonneville's.. This guy promised me that it would work on a 3.1liter but i havent heard of this working but.. you have to cut a hole in the hood.. He said just take plenum off and bolt it on.. Also... Will a 3800 Supercharger work on a 3400 engine?? i havent heard of this yet ive just seen people boosting 3400's... please detail in the 3.1 and 3400

no the s/c will not just bolt on to either a 3.1 or 3400 without modification, and what he might be talking about is cutting a hole in the upper intake and bolting the s/c ontop but then you will need to cut your hood as well.

those S/C's will not bolt onto the 3.1 or 3400 w/o a complete custom setup, and cutting a hole in the hood. you wasted your money.

ROTFL

Even if you had a 3800 it would take MUCH longer than an hour to bolt an SC onto it.

boosting a 3400 could be turbo or super boosting is a generic term for F/I
