Since I see alot posts asking about what size tires with what springs will rub and what won't, etc, etc, etc, this thread is for everyone to post their info. This is the format-

Tire size
Wheel width and offset
Lowering amount (or brand of spring)
Rubbing issues experienced, if any
Any other pertinent info you think might be of use to us (ex- I'm not running splash shields/fender liners, so nothing rubs, you get the idea)

Please don't ask about other people's setups or discuss what setup you want to run, just keep it to whats needed. Thanks.

ALSO SEE THESE TWO THREADS-
Non 2nd gen factory wheels thread

Aftermarket wheels and tires thread

Canuck springs 1.7"

Took the inner splash guards out but it still rubs on big bumps (i havent bent back the metal yet) but we have some nice sized bumps around here.

Wheels - 17x6 w/ 38mm offset
Tires - 205 40 17 Ultra HPR (CT brand)
Springs - Sprints (Ebay) ( my drop was ~~ 2in. all around)

I had rub issues with 205 50 17's really bad but with the 40 series tires I havent had a problem in 4 months and the roads here are terrible.

Current setup ( No Problems ):

I dunno what my wheel off set is.

225 50 16 Khumo 712 supra's
2inch + drop on canuck springs *says 1.7 but it dropped lower* and KYB GR2 struts and shocks.

Rubs going around some corners and if I have to many people in the car. But just on the liner. Going to put -1 degree camber on them and that should help it out.

edit. Got the camber fixed and now I only get rubs when I hit large bumps in the road. Other than that I can corner like a deamon and no rubby.!

205/55/16 Hankook Ventus K102
16x6 03-05 Z24/LS sport rims
Canuck motorsports 1.7 drop springs
running Daytona caliper brackets in the back and the driverside rear tire rubs, i have 0.3 degress camber in the rear on the driverside and -0.6 camber on the passenger rear, and the rear toe is just way out of whack.

anyone know if my positive driverside camber could be causing my rubbing, at 0.3 degrees i dont think so but i havnt done alignments in ages and can't remember how much it should affect it
