i wus just wondering how to get those bolts off? theyre the ones that you have to twist, and pull, but they just dig into the thing...

do you get what im saying? cause i had to break them off, so i could get the mesh out... and i had to screw the mesh back to the cowl

on mine, they are speed nuts. just grap a door panel tool, or side cutters, and pull off thespeed nuts, then put new ones on, and squish down the tabs

yeah, i had the problem getting them off too. I gave up for the time being, after i broke one of the studs off, but when i replaced my fender some shit got out of alignment, so i need to take the cowling back off to get to a bolt, so i'm gonna cut those stupid speed nuts off, clean prime paint and clear the mesh so it's protected good, then i'm gonna toss the cut nuts back on the studs and JB weld them on, hehe. It's gonna be soo rigged, lol.

just so we all know...on a 92 rs...dunno for the rest...but on a rs coupe...the cowl is very easy to break...as i found...so take off the bolts...on on each fender under the hood brackets...1 under the washer...take off the washer...then on the sides...right against each fender under the cowl you will find 2 bolts that hold the cowl too..you MUST remove these to prevent what happen to me ...lol...but then you take those 5 bolts off and the 2 screws that hold the cowl n mesh 2gether...and enjoy your whip
