the body is great on it. I am putting a 3.1 in a 4 cylinders place. I just got the engine out this morning.

if your going to go from a 4cyl to a v6, why not get the 3400 instead of the 3.1 unless you have a 3.1 sitting around.

hes probably doing what i did

2.2>3.1>3400
cuz basicaly you need to move all the sensors and wires over, so i did it that way first +

Sheesh people! There is nothing wrong with a 3.1L They are a hell of a step up from a 2.2L 4 Cyl. (even though the later 2.2's aren't too bad. any 2.8/3.1L is a great driver's motor and more than adequate to stomp on any damn Civic DX!

Al, I Promise you, you're welcome to drive the beretta upon completion. In a parking lot of course thats fully embraced by rubber everything. But still you'll be allowed Once you go to the light of a Gen 3 motor, you NEVER go back to GEN2. Unless you're forced to work on it.

It just so happens i do have a 3.1 sitting around. My sis wrecked her 99 monte so im taking the motor and putting it in mine. Had it been a 3.4 then i guess id be upgrading to a 3.4 but hey ill take what i can get. anybody want some 4 cylinder parts? surely there is someone on here with a 2.2 cavy.

99 monte? thats the 3100 not the 3.1 that came in our cars.
