All thanks goes to 90zcar. The text and pictures are from him. I am merely posting them for him.
I want to say thanks for this excellent information on how to install new rollers in a factory manner.

90zcar's Guide
  • Here is the three new white ones that come in a pack beside the old one I drilled out
  • You can drill out the rivet looking head down flush and then hit it out with a 3/16" punch
  • Here is the wheel drilled and punched out
  • The new one placed up through
  • Here you can see I stuck a punch in a vise and put the one end of the wheel stud on top while using a center punch and driving it into the end that needs peened on.
  • Once you hit it 2 or 3 times you will need to take a small ball been and mushroom it out a little which also closes the hole back up which enables you to take the punch back to it again
  • Just go back and forth between the peen and punch and eventually it will end up tight and look like this
Just make sure to always have the bottom punch in the vise centered with the underside of the wheel on the stud or it can slip and ruin the wheel and u will have to start all over
  • And here is a fresh cavalier window regulator ready to roll.
May want to drill out the gear cover and clean that out and repack it with new grease

Is there a reason you didn't buy new ones? I believe manual regulators from advanced auto were $60 or the complete regulator. Also for power windows they were $80 for the complete motor and arms.

Why would you buy a whole new regulator for $60 when all you need is the roller that's under $10?

I forgot to add a pic of punching it down...butch will prolly throw that up shortly. Thanks again butch for posting this for me

Manual regulators can "not" be bought new anymore. Only power ones which are totally different.

I added it as 'image[3.1]'. I believe it is the correct place to coincide with the text.

And you are quite welcome. Actually the thanks goes to you for documenting the job
