those things are less than 10 bucks at sears. less then 6 at harbor freight.

There are other types that work just as well, if not better.

I use some made by Lisle, that are white plastic and you snap over the hard line, to slide into the fitting. I've tried the "adjustable" kind like you have a picture of and was frustrated with how they "worked", espcially in tight spaces.

yup, im with six. the white plastic ones come on a black holder, in setss of like 5 or 6, cant remember right now, but the are tons better than the adjustables. especially when working in narrow spaces.

I just picked up a set of those plastic collar style ones the other day. Definately look very simple to operate. They look like this:
