Engine

• K&N air filter, painted filter lid to match exterior.
• Swapped from 2.8L to 3.1L for increased HP.
• Polished plenum and valve covers.
• Custom polished aluminum battery cover.
• Custom blue silicone vacuum lines and wire loom.
• Swapped from 3 speed automatic transmission to Muncie-Getrag 5 speed.
• Magnaflow polished stainless resonator and muffler.

Exterior

• Removed luggage rack from trunk lid.
• Added spoiler from 94 Z24.
• Polished aluminum rims, removed clearcoat, hand sanded, and hand polished.
• Side mirrors painted to match exterior.
• Car was entirely repainted with Dupont.
• Shaved badges and door mouldings.
• Blackout headlight covers

Interior

• Replaced seats, carpet, and headliner.
• Tinted back window, door and rear quarter windows.
• Custom blue aluminum gauge pod trim.

Handling

• Goodyear Eagle GT tires.
• Upgraded struts and shocks.
• Replaced front and rear springs.
• Poly sway bar bushings and endlinks.

Audio

• Pioneer DEH-46DH head unit.
• HiFonics amps.
• Kicker Comp 10s.
• Infinity 4" front dash
• Infinity 6x9s rear.

I bought this car from a local Fredericktown dealership in 1992 for $7200 (I was the 2nd owner). I traded it off in 1994 at a dealership in St. Peters, MO. In 2000 (after 3 more owners)someone else living in Fredericktown had bought the car at an auction. He was the 6th owner. Eventually that owner wrecked the car and it sat for about a year. I purchased it from him in 2001 for $300 making me the 2nd and now 7th owner. After lots of money,time, and buying two other Z24s for parts it has been restored and looks better than it did when I was the 2nd owner.
