eh, it's a Ford, but it's my baby and it's never given me any problems.N/A Run: 1/4: 11.267 1/4 MPH: 129.38
New runs with the blower coming soon.
9/28/07: Got the block back from the machine shop, reassembled everything and installed the rest of the goodies. Dropping the engine in tomorrow.
11/26/07: We've added a few special ingredients which are being kept private. It runs much faster now.
1/15/08: Got the cylinder heads back about a week and a half ago, got them on and everything buttoned up. Took a little convincing to start, but it's running now with no snags. Feels nice and strong. Most of the roads are cleared of snow and salt now so I guess it's time to take her for a spin.
1/17/08: We've added the final few pieces to the car, and it is now complete, so I thought I'd release the details on the last few mods we did over new years. Got the Kenne Bell kit and got it installed. We're running the Big Bore 2.1L Twin Screw supercharger at 11psi and HAULING ASS. yeah, yeah, I know, "supercharger/turbo is the only way a mustang can beat anything'. I'll have you know that I beat WAAAAY more than my fair share of cars as a N/A Mustang driver. Like the 'supercharged' cobalts, some newer camaros, a firebird formula, and a lot of rice. As far as I'm concerned, the kenne bell is just icing on the cake.
2/27/08: Got the 4.10 gears from Motive installed. WHY DIDN'T I GET THESE SOONER?!
3/01/08: I'm working on making her lighter without sacrificing street-ability. Back seat and all brackets are out, since it never gets used anyway. It's a start.
3/03/08: Turns out she's been running a little lean. Getting some 42# injectors soon.
3/10/08: got the new injectors. Seems to have solved the problem.
