If you cut it into four pieces at the scrapyard they ask no questions. As far as im aware it's legal, thats how i used to get rid of my parts cars.jokerswild_ said:I'm from MN -- too far for me obviously. But I'm curious - how can you sell it without a title? how does that work, exactly?? I mean, obviously someone can hand you seven $100 bills and you hand them the keys - but what's the legality here? What can you do with a title-less car? As far as I'm aware, you can't register a car in MN without a title. Heck you can't even take a car to the junkyard without a title... Partscar comes to mind of course, but as far as I'm aware you couldn't even get rid of the shell afterwards without a title.
I wish you were closer to GA I'll buy itI have this 1989 Z24 with 141k original miles on the clock, complete all original with out any dings or dents. good paint, rust free runs and drives. I got this a few years ago from a local auction with NO TITLE. Its a pretty nice time capsule and I know you guys on here with parts cars could make this thing work for you. It was in storage for years and the only thing wrong with it is is has old gas in it. The good is the gas left in it was before they started putting ethanol in the fuel so its just old gas. It starts right up, idles, drives, clutch is good. I drove this all around my property the other day moving things around. My township is on my ass and I have 17 cars in my driveway in a residential neighborhood and no time to deal with things right now.
If this had a title I could see this being worth 2500+. Anyone want this for the 700 range? Hard to find one in this shape. Located in Gilbertsville PA 19525
