I went through a crank, rod, oil pump and a set of bottom end bearings in '08. 8)

Built L67/L32 in an '89.

I'm thinking Dave is gonna thrash it this season just to see if it will break. :lol:

Hoping to break into the 14's this year.. im adding weight but should have a little more power this year.

i need to shave another 50-100 lbs and 12's will happen. 13.1 full trim wasn't too bad..

I am going to run my car on the motor with slicks. I think it may run in the 13's.

Going for 11's with the power adder though.

If that's the case, all I have is a 3400 Z. Stock cam, ported heads, ported manifolds, 62mm TB...nothing special.

There are definitely a lot of people faster than I am. J-body's, anyway.

getting a new timing chain asap, my 3500 intake is almost ready to go on right now, and depending on my tax return i might do some exhaust goodies <SIZE size="59">coughheaderscough</SIZE> plus get new shocks to stabilize the rear end, less damn squat! 1.7:1 rockers would be cool but if they ever get made i dont see myself being able to afford them this year. but we'll see.

mid 13's would be super sweet. but i'm shooting for a 13.99 minimum imp:

Depending on my fundage, I should be getting into the very low 14's this year. I have finally started to get somewhere on modding the engine for the first time in about three years. New TB is on, 3500 intake manifold is on, a box of 3" and 2.5" mandrel bends and a new air filter is sitting in my garage. I also hope on getting a new clutch and lightened flywheel before the season starts. With all those, I should be able to shave a few tenths off of my 14.6 second best.
