I was told by my mechanic that the rear wheel bearings are shot and the cause is the offset of the cavalier wheels. I recently got stuck in the median and tore a cv boot and cracked a rim. Now that I have new wheel bearings is it ok to put those 16's back on the rear at least?

has anyone ever heard of those wheels being incorrect offset on a 2nd gen?
