ABS is best but hard to find. PVC is ok as long as the exhaust manifolds arent too close.
You can use exhaust pipe to create your intake but weighs alot. Ive been searching for a company that sells aluminum piping of various sizes and mandrel angles, but the search has been futile so far. Use PVC for now and youll have a nice intake with reasonable flow. Good luck.

Actually, the piping that I used is aluminized..not entirely aluminum. Anyway, the cermic engine enamel helps it to disapate heat.

Abs is a very tough plastic able to withstand heat and abuse. It is nonconductive, meaning wont conduct heat like metal. Its the best material and one of the lightest. Its almost as light as aluminum. One plus it has it can be flexed to some degree too. That can help sometimes in installations. I just dont know where to purchase abs tubing. Oh well.
