Brake Peddle Feel After Brake Swap

OK first of all when I searched for info on doing the rear disc brake swap I never saw the Saturn swap info. so like a dumbass, I spent hours online looking at hubs, rotors, etc. that would work. I ended up doing the Saturn swap on my 88 Cav. However when I was searching the posts mentioned how much better the feel of the brake peddle was. My peddle feels just like it did before the swap (it sucks). I went through two bottles of brake fluid bleeding the brakes to ensure there was no air. The car stops just fine. Any ideas??

Thanks

Can't help you with the swap, I've never done it. I just wanted to suggest you pull a vacuum on it. Sounds like you did bleed it well, but sometimes air will still be trapped.
If you do use vacuum, don't get carried away. The plastic reservoir may implode. Watch it closely for deformation.
I'll give that a try, thanks.
Make sure you use a 1991 lumina master cylinder that is for four wheels discs. My pedal feel has improved dramatically after the swap and I used that master. I'm not sure if it really the master that did the difference but most people won't do the master and don't realize that drum and disc need to operate at different pressures. You need to have the right proportioning valve in the master cylinder. It will make the brake work better at the very least and hopefully fix the pedal feel

I didn't realize that thought the masters were all the same thanks.
