Just a quick question? What are the differences? I have a '94 Cavalier, and my friend has a '94 Cavalier RS...

Nothin really, just a few options like, the RS has a folding back seat and red badges can't really think of any other little things. Nothin major unless the RS has the optional 3.1 V6
RS's could have everything a Z could have just with no ground effects.

that would be my cav 8)
Parts companies almost never list the RS but they always list the Z24 because almost all parts are interchangeable between the two. I am new but have found most of the parts that I have listed under Z24 and they fit like a glove. I just bought a bezel for my RS which was listed as a Z24 accessory. I took pictures of my instruments and compared the two. There were no differences that I could see? Certain accessory were included with the RS and for the cavalier they were considered options. Has anyone seen a 4 cylinder RS? It is nice to own a car where parts from so many other cars will fit with no problem. Later, Lonny

Most of the RS's i've seen around here are 2.0/2.2's. I've seen very few 2.8/3.1 RS's in my area.
OK, I thought maybe that was another difference that all RSs were 6 cylinder. It sounds like more of them are 4 than 6. So the only difference really is cosmetic, right? How do you guys bring a potent of the other persons message down into your box when you answer them? Later, Lonny

Hey Shane, thanks a lot. I always wondered what that button was for. I learned a long time ago not to push buttons that I don't know what they do. I will check out the next chance I get. Thanks, Lonny

Now I wanna go outside and see if it really does but I'm to lazy, tired to get up to do that.
