Close race w/ a ricer

So there I was...traveling down 495 toward the beach w/ 3 other people in the Z. I pass this riced out honda accord (~88-91) with chrome rims doing abou 75 mph and casually look at him. Now this kid is big, with 2 other people in the car. He catches my glance and decides he wants to race. I didnt really want to because my CAT is all plugged up and rattling but I went against my instincts and went for it. I pushed the pedal to the floor and let those ponies ride. By the time I was pulling away I was at 115mph (only about 10-12 seconds later) and kinda wanted to keep going cuz the car felt good and wanted more. But I decided enough was enough and flashed the brake lights a couple times and slowed it down. I was about 1 car length ahead and gaining ground. Well once I slow down guss what happened? The old ricer fly-by. Well it was fun but I felt I could have done better w/out a loaded car and a full tank of gas. It was also running hot cuz I had just switched off the AC for the race (about 235 degrees). But man did that thing sound like crap. Had the big old exhast tip. It sounded like a weedwacker but not as smooth. The weedwacker sounds better in my opinion. But he must have done something to that car to hit those high speeds. I didnt think oldskool accords were that fast?

I wouldve kept on hauling it and show the import driver with the honey comb muffler who owns the road.. z24 rule when built right.
Yeah Z24's arent made to go the long haul. stock that is,
esspically if your only running a 2.8L with 130 at the crank !

However, I've left a friends nicely done up CRX in my rear view,
Which is a 2000lbs car flat..
Smack those egears harder ; )
Wow  I think you just set some kind of record for bringing the oldest tread in history.
