correct u ship him your fenders and u pay the shipping of the x-1 fenders to u which is like 60 bucks so 60 plus whatever it costs u to send your to him

Wow, this is a great offer, what condition do the fenders have to be in, the ones on my cav, dont have rust, or dents, but the paint is coming off. but hell what like 100 bucks for fenders? sounds good to me :!: :!:

yeah i talked to rick about this last night the fenders do have to be in pretty good condition as so to make a plug for the fiberglass mold

i dont have ricks address on hand so i`m sure he'll put it up for u i know he is in cali

U mean pretty good as in, No major dents or rust right? the paint is the only thing wrong w/ mine, i just want to clerify because i could be putting this project infrount of the rest if i can get this kinda deal..

I already have the passenger side fender from when I was gonna replace the crunched one but you can have it and a driver side I might get from a friend in exchange for the X-1 set, all clean no dents no rust. I figure with shipping the donor set over there for about 60 and plus spending 60 bucks on the donor set to get sent and then another 60 bucks for shipping the X-1's to my pad I figure it's about the same as if I paid for em in the group buy, so I say I'm in on this deal as you need fenders to make the new ones anyways.

One question though how long do you think it will take to get the X-1's after you recieve the donor set??? Two weeks I think I remember you saying but not sure.
OH well you got my email address off the serious buyers list so contact me and let me know what's up, I can't wait to get those baby's on and start advertising for you guys after everything goes well. :wink:

huh??? umm the x-1s will com in primer and will be fiberglass so u cant dent them and they wont rust

yes, it'll take 2weeks for the prototyping/mold to be made for the x-1 fenders after recieving the donor fenders

ok so it will be 2 weeks for the first pair when you get the fenders. So how long of a time period are we looking at to get a pair? And if its going to be a while, will it be safe to go ahead and start working on my side skirts making sure they fit my stock fender. Then when new fender comes that the side skirt will fit it perfectly? Cause right now i can't afford to make a mistake as in cutting to much. My kit is already cut up real good.

i would wait till you get the new fenders and have the sides match up with those

it'll take 2weeks for the molds/prototyping & another 3-4weeks to produce 10-15 sets of these fenders
