I thinking of adding two mufflers by adding a pipe from the inlet of the first muffler across to the second muffler inlet. Would this have a negative effect on my cavi.

lose some bottom end power, gain some top end power. depends on where u want ur powerband. do a search on this topic, its been discussed a thousand times and that seems to be the answer.
