just thought i would update, i almost have my whole floor covered then i'll be moving on to the doors. I have pics if anyones interested. should i do the whole car? if so i'm gonna need some more. i was thinking of using fatmat (sp?) its $100 for 100ft on ebay, i think i might try some for that price.

there's really no need to cover every inch of the car. Just all the rattle points will suffice, But good job I'm sure you'll notice a huge difference.
i doubt i'll be able to tell a difference, the main reason is i've only driven the car once to where i'm working on it now lol. but i'm sure i'll be able to tell the difference from my brothers cavy.
How did that FatMat instal go for you ? I was considering using it also for the same reasons as you the price !!
You will noitice a difference by covering the entire interior, including the trunk. The sound deadener helps keep road noise out as well as reduce vibration. ;)
I have my entire floor and trunk lid covered. made a big difference
3 Yr old thread guys :p

I acutally have that car now, and it only has the floor, and the floor of the trunk... But it is a good bit quieter than my old cav... I still need to do the doors and trunk lid.. But no idea when that will happen
