Who makes a body kit for the 2nd gen J's?

There is a list of companies in the appearance links section

What are some cheap appearancemods I can do myself?

Check out the How-To section for some instructions and ideas

I saw a Z22. Is this for real?

Unfortunately it is. It was a dealer package added (A emblem was put on, thats it) to 4 cylinder Cavaliers so they could trick people into buying them for more money. This was only done in Canada as far as I know, but there may be some in the states as well.

Will phase I ground effects & bumpers fit on my phase II, and vice versa?

Yup, they sure will

Will 3rd gen j-body wheels fit on my 2nd or 1st gen?

Yes they will. All J-body wheels have a 5x100 bolt pattern, so all years are interchangeable.

How big of wheels can I go with / what size tires are right for my rims?

Your answers lie at this link

Can I cut or heat my springs to lower my car?

Well, you could, but I wouldn't recommend it! Cutting or heating them can weaken them causing them to break. It also changes the spring rate and will make your car bottom out very easily and cause a rougher ride. It is also hard to get both sides even. If you are going to do it, just do it right and purchase a set of lowering springs. You will be much happier with the results, and your car will safer as well.

Can I put Z24 ground effects on my 4 door?

Yes. The distance between the front and rear wheels is the same on the sedans as on the coupes, so they will fit right in there. You will just need to modify them slightly to allow the doors to open. The phase I style will work with the least amount of modification.
