Before i say anything yes i did search on this topic and every post i found was about 350's

i was talkin to my cousin and some of his friends about different engines that i could put in my car. and one of his friends said that i could fit a 305 chevy small block in there. and i dont belive him but my cousin does. would it fit in the engine bay? i know i would have to make it rear wheel drive(or could i make it front wheel drive?) and i know it would be alot of work but i am getting my parents car in a year or so so i have time to save. and i could probably find some of the stuff i need in a junkyard(that is what his friend said). but i think it would be pretty sweet f i could get it done and my cav would f*ckin fly.

any advice would be helpful.

seems like a lot of work but i i do it and keep it stock looking it will be a friggin sleeper. what me and my cousin were thinkin about doin is to take and put a ricer muffler on it so it doesnt sound like there is a v8 sitting under the hood and then bring it to the track and race all the friggin ricers and beat all the pimped out civics(i know my car can do it with a v6 but we need a project to do over the summer ina year or two when we are out of school  )
theres no ricer tip out there that would make a v8 sound like a ricer. too deep a tone. it would sound like a v8 with a rice tip

Pretty much...just like you can't make the V6 sound like that...
i never thought of the tone difference. but i still want to do it.
