How hard is it to get back there to change the PCV valve and what all is inovolved. There are only like 2 or 3 bucks for a fram and i want to do it for the hell of it
It is easy to do. It just takes alittle bit of time b/c it is hard to reach. It is in the back of the engine. Stupid spot to put it. They could have just but it in the front and would have made things alot easier.
Yeah, it is kinda a pain to get to. You will have to move the MAP sensor and other various vacuum lines out of the way to get to the PCV valve. Removing the strut tower brace in important too.
In our cars (and on most front wheel drive vehicles) the engines are mounted sideways so there are front and rear valve covers. The PCV valve is on the rear valve cover.
