My car behves really weird, I just want to know if I should expect to buy a new tranny before I get it back on the road next year.

My car sometimes shifts itself into nuetral when Im driving and I can shift if back into drive

one time though it shifted into nuetral, put it back in the drive postion and still wouldnt go at all, just idled like it was in nuetral and wouldnt let me even rev the engine. Then I pulled it over, wouldnt restart, came back that night and started and drove it home ok

it shifts roughly when driving, its a noticeable "umph"

When I go into drive from reverse or vice versa, it goes POP and rocks the car and almost stalls

now, lately.

It wont go fast. I tried to accelerate it to pass a car, and it just wouldnt GO AT ALL. It was acting like a 4 cyl speed wise, definately not like a 3400 cav should.

anyways, someone please let me know if I should be worried about my tranny or not

fluid level?? is it pink or black, when was the last time the fluid was changed??

Fluid was changed this time last year, unless it was changed by Rob when the 3400 was dropped in

level is fine
