I found the line from the clutch reservoir to the master kinked.

I suppose this is not how it should be.

I'm wondering if this is the cause of the clutch problems the car has?
I need to find a 90° bent tube I can replace this one with.

I ordered a 90° elbow to put new lines on with.

Had to modify the elbow by grinding off some of the barbs on both sides. I did this so it would line up better with little or no stress added to the master or reservoir. It should work fine and ensure no restriction in the fluid flow.

I ordered a Luk clutch this evening with some other stuff. Just in case. I'm hoping I don't need to put it in just yet though.

Thanks for letting me know. I guess you have no problems with it then?
Anyway, I'll feel better about it with the elbow in place. Glad I went ahead and ordered the clutch kit.
