Firdenza (sp) does, and I think that mev also produced one. You wouldn't want his though, it was quite the pretty penny...
Fidenza is the only manufacturer that makes an aluminum flywheel for our cars, and Mev (owner of J-Body Performance) has the best price on them, around $375 US.
The one I have is a lightened steel flywheel that weighs about 1/2 of the stock one. It cost about $175 from Mantapart. I've had it for about a year, it could be more now.
ive checked most online stores in the US, I under sell by $50 for the fidanza flywheels.

I don't make my own, who said that? :-?
Should have watched ebay about 6 months ago, cause those exactl same flywheels were going for about 125.
does anyone make a lightweight flywheel for a 2.0 other than mantapart

I coulda swore that at one point you had said you made one, just as a showpiece... I also recall that it had an exorborant pricetag...
Oh, you're talking about the billet crankshaft. The one with the $3200CDN price tag. Yeah it's pricey, but what ya gonna do... Machinist need to make their dough.
what are the advantages of the light weight flywheel???
A lighter flywheel would be best for racing purposes, because that's really the only place you're going to need it.

Lighter flywheel = less rotating mass = less effort to turn said flywheel = freed up HP.
It will rev faster, but that also means it will drop revs quicker. You will have to relearn your car to an extent. Im not sure about gas milage, since there wont be as much mass to keep the momentum going on its own. In a J body you wont have as much of a problem as you would see a difference in a heavy car like my cutlass.

Fidenza lists applications for 2.0/2.2/2.8/3.1 . I'm fairly sure that when they are referring to the 2.0, they mean the OHV 2.0. It might also fit the OHC 2.0, but I don't know if the crank pattern is the same because the tranny bolt patterns I know are different :-?
