i'm confused.
mass airflow sensor
i need some help with this. i buy a new intake kit i already put the cone filter im not sure about it gonna happend if i take the mass airflow sensor and put just the pipe. tnks

1987 V6s actually used a mass-air based fuel injection instead of speed density (MAP). However, it was extremely problematic, and GM actually recalled some vehicles to convert them to speed density.
If I remember right, I think there is a kit or something along those lines that you can get to convert the MAF system over to a speed/density system. Check with a dealership.
